Today I’m reviewing the game Beat Hazard developed by Cold Beam Games for the Xbox Live Arcade and costs 400 Microsoft points. Beat Hazard is listed under the Indie games section on Xbox Live. If you’ve ever enjoyed the arcade classic Asteroids, you’ll know exactly what this game is all about. It’s incredible colorful, exciting, a blast to play. I cannot believe this game only cost $5 and I can almost guarantee that everyone will have fun with it.

I would like to start a gaming blog?

Im a frequent MLG player and would like to blog/vlog my way as a ameuter, and what its like to attend events and stuff.

I would also like to have hardware/video game reviews/play throughs, but how do I go without getting a copyright infragment.

I would also like to make money off it

Check out the first link on my profile. It’s a good site to get started on and they’ll handle the stuff like search engine optimization and monetization. As far as reviews and play throughs I don’t think there will be any issues. As long as you are giving credit to the publisher/manufacturer. Besides, it’s free advertising for them why would they complain.

As for making money there are a couple of ways to do that.
1. The site on my profile already integrates Adsense and Amazon.com into your blog. You’ll just need to sign up for Adsense and amazon.com affiliate program if you aren’t already.

2. Rather than use Youtube and imbed the videos, use a video sharing site that shares ad revenue. Email me if you want a link to the one I use. If your blog and videos become extremely popular and you end up qualifying for a youtube partnership then you may want to consider moving to youtube at that point.

Classic Gaming in Las Vegas Dinky Dana Style

Just got back from my trip to Las Vegas. Went to the Classic Gaming Expo in Tropicana the first 2 days and then enjoy the pool, food, casinos, and nightlife the rest of the trip. Met up with Gamester81 for a bit as well as OldSchoolNYCGamer and BigBrutis1 at the convention. Was really nice to finally meet you guys. More from the Expo to come.

Does someone under 18 need parent permission to post game reviews and blogs on a site?

I am recruiting teens ages 13-19 to be game reviewers, bloggers, and pod-casters for my site. Do they need there parents permission to do this? In the email I send I say "You also state that your are aware and allow your position on our site."
I am 15 myself.
What about M rated games like Halo or Modern Warfare?

You should be alright.
