This is a topic I’ve wanted to cover for a very long time as it seems neither consumers nor manufacturers really understand how to optimize a PC for gaming. This goes for desktops as well as notebooks. Here at NCIX we understand that gaming is all about the graphics, but without hard numbers, it’s difficult to prove. Behold.

It should be noted that the Core i7 will destroy the Core i5 in things like video editing or 3D rendering, but these things are not “gaming”…

Were can i get the best video game cart/center?

I have a lot of game consoles and what not. Ps3, Xbox360, Wii, Ps2, and all the controllers. And the video games i keep stacked neat and in order. But i’m moving shortly and i need to get a gaming cart/center that will let me organize and keep my video games & consoles in 100% safe. That means controllers, chargers, games, and maybe a spot for a little movies. Its hard to believe that not one of you gamers has something like this. Please help me out!?

Im looking for some games to put on my kids PC. It doesnt have a lot of RAM and runs XP sp3. He really liked Civilization 4 and assorted SimCity type games. Anyone know of any good game review sites or maybe some suggestions?

Whats the different between a Good and a Gaming Laptop?

This summer im planning to be a hardcore gamer. This means gaming on high graphics games for alot of hours each day.

I would like to buy a very good laptop so i would not lagg and i would not want tge laptop to become slow after a year of use or after installing a number of programs.

Im planning to spend not more than 1000 euros.
I dnt know what laptop i need to buy
So as the question says whas the difference?

that much makes enough room to get a good gaming laptop, not an alienware, and not some super roid-rage desktop replacement, but an actual gaming laptop. i got mine (i know, ive been posting it everywhere. but its good!) on the HP online store, you can customize it with some added parts not normally available (added discrete graphics cards) or you can just buy a high performance laptop,which will pretty much run the same.

for 43 more, you can get this. its a gaming laptop. runs ALL of your games, but maybe not on max settings. but it will run them amazingly well (high settings at least)

What are some iPhone games with good features for Game Center friends?

I’m looking for some iPhone games where I’ll be able to do stuff with my game center friends… but NOT just normal multiplayer. I mean trading items and that kind of thing, where we don’t have to be on at the same time.

I’ve been playing Monster Pet Shop and it’s a good example, but it can be any genre of game.

Oh and free games are preferred (but if you know a good non-free game don’t hesitate to mention it ). Thanks!

I recently have become under the posession of a computer, a pretty fast one. I always see things on Youtube of this quarry of video gaming gold!
Just earlier, I saw a LFD2 multiplayer map based off of one of Stephen Kings novels. I want to get into all that, but there is one problem, I dont have steam. What do I need to do? I’m pretty lost about all this, any help would be great:) thanks!

What should good game reviews include?

So what exactly does a game review need to include? I know plot, gameplay, and movements but I need to know what else should be included such as currency or anything like that. Help please?

Graphics in relation to current standards, how user-friendly it is, any particular points that interest you that perhaps other games don’t include, or problems that you encountered.

Anything, really, that stands out. A good review is one that explains what a game does right, what it does wrong, what games you might compare it to so that people have something to base their decision to buy/not buy it on, and whether you think it is worth playing. Also, how replayable you think it is. A game like Skyrim, one could play over and over because there’s so much to do and in so many ways. Batman: Arkham Asylum, however, you might only play once or twice.
