    @BToTech1 Well, i …
    @BToTech1 Well, i don’t think any major brand would deliberately produce and sell defective equipment. It’s understandable that people who get dfective units are more likely to go write reviews, than the people who are satisfied. But since I can only get some sort of statistics by reading reviews in foruns and sites like compusa, bestbuy, etc. I could notice that everyone that had problems, had the exact same kind of problem.

    @CzechRiot think about it this way. so far asus has shipped over 50 thousand of these into the usa alone. if it had inherent issues do you think asus would continue selling them? do you think we would as a responsible dealer continue selling them?

    @CzechRiot disregard complaints because there are always some. this machine is near perfect except the missing esata port and hard to get to cpu.

    I’ve read quite a few customer reviews reporting freeze ups on this machines, most seem to be some sort of driver/software issue, but some seemed to be defective GPU. I just watched a video on youtube with a furmark test where the screen goes grey after about one minute. What are your considerations on that?

    for the price this is the fastest laptop on the planet for gaming and everything else. It is also the best in terms of design. asus got it right with the exception of the absent esata port and easy access. Worry when it is cold. To the touch this is never warmer then warm

    It’s not, especially for a laptop. Only ~30 celsius is freezing compared to other gaming laptops.
