I’m looking for a nice gaming laptop. I’m not sure about the price, but I won’t go over 2,000. I don’t really know what I want to have on it, but it needs to run games with ease and not freeze up.I don’t know which games I’ll be playing, but I like GTA and spore. I’ll probably have those two games on it.
If you mean GTA 4, then youll need a pretty high end video card for it, at least a 9800 GS/GT. Something like this

As far as the "best" available graphic wise, that would be one with a 280m GTX SLI, or a 4870m X2

You probably won’t need a ‘gaming laptop’ for GTA and Spore. Just a high end one with a bit of beef.
If you want to, look into Sager machines. Way out of your price range but incredible laptops.

So you have a very broad price! That is great!
Knowing that you had the room to spend some money, I would jump right to the apples!
I am on the Macbook 2.0GHz right now, and I was playing WOW, and I mean wow! It was AMAZING! No lags or anything! With the new macbook pro 13 inch, it is even better! What is good for you, is that it is cheeper too!
