Listen bud it is only running on beta drivers and 70 DB is dead wrong . the correct figure is 45 db for GTX 480 and 43 db for GTX 470 under full load .and Power TDP is 250 watts on GTX 480 and 215 watts on GTX 470.
And these Graphics cards are not running on full potential . wit those streaming multiprocessors disabled
They are 1.5 Db …
They are 1.5 Db louder than 5870’s fans at 100%. Erhm, how is that MUCH louder?
Read the conclusion of the gtx 480 review on overclockers club.
all the benches out there has been done with auto-fan speed that usually goes from 30-40% speed.

It’s funny how the red roosters whine, even though they have gray screens of death, random crashes, and green dots in 2D, not to mention the 2D lockups, bloated crap CCC, dotnet 2.0 required, no cuda, no physx, and NO openGL!
As far as the sound goes the morons crank their game sound up to 100X bass boost then play their ganker metal crap musik at 300 decibels, so the WHINING does not hold true.
70% fan speed? Eeek …
70% fan speed? Eeek, and those fans are already loud enough as it is. Benchmarks show the 470 being around 45c Idle and 92-95c under load with a stock fan speed. What website or video do you have showing it being 70c at 70% fan speed?

@searay230 You lack knowledge. at 70% fan speed it stays at 70c under max load.. at 40-50% (which is auto for noobs) rise the temps to 95c.
