I have all 3 Stalkers and I know the best how the game looks on DX9, DX10 and DX11 and It doesn’t looks like this video showing. It’s the same DX10 in every window. For a little example look at the sun rays at 0:41. There is no such effect on DX 9 in Stalker.

I take a look closer in DX11 ,now i can see it ,now i see the difrent between DX 9 look ,and DX 10.1 ,and 10 . I will not tell what i see in DX11 ,but you need to tell by your self ,just take alook closer ,not how the place look ,but just look in DX reality and you will see it .

I do really like this video, it shows a lot of details about the graphical features and differences between DX9/10/10.1/11. Nevertheless, I do personally think that between DX9 and DX10 is the greatest difference. Otherwise, from DX10 to DX10.1 and DX11, well, there aren’t that huge differences visible. As you know, Tessel/llation makes the greatest difference only. I play CoP almost on highest DX10 features and I love it! Could watch this video again & again, it doesn’t get boring, it rocks!

I’m not going to lie. The amount of effort they put into integrating DX10 and DX11 effects into this game shows, the differences are negligible. I see no post processing and very little soft particle, volumous, and shader effects. The level design is also somewhat bland; the world seems completely flat and sparsely decorated.
I know it’s meant to be realistic, but some craters or debris would have been nice, along with some floating particulate in the air.
